happy land conservancy Month!

As you may know, in recent years the period between our Annual Dinner (March 11 this year) and our Art Auction (April 2–21, also online!) has marked Land Conservancy Month here in Adams County.

Building on a tradition we began four years ago, this year we will again mark Land Conservancy Month by building awareness of the importance of land conservation through weekly captioned photos in the Gettysburg Times as well as two full-color, full-page ads placed in the Times in the days leading up to our Art Auction.

Beautifully designed by board member Kelly Alsedek using photographs contributed by our members, this year our ad celebrates the importance of sharing our love for the natural world with children, grandchildren, and younger friends and neighbors.

As in previous years, the ad will include the names of supporters like you who share our love for beautiful Adams County. You can add your name with a $100 contribution in support of our shared mission of preserving Adams County’s beautiful rural lands and character.

If you’d like to participate, please mail your contribution to our office—P.O. Box 4584, 670 Old Harrisburg Road, Gettysburg, PA 17325—no later than April 1. Please note “Land Conservancy Month ad” in the memo line.

New this year: you can also make your contribution securely through our website!

We thank you for your commitment to preserving Adams County’s unique landscape for future generations!
